The total stay was really good on a business trip. Its location was lovely and beautiful, bubbly by nature, and in a lovely peaceful area. Besides, the property was 2 km away from Newmount Methodist Church. The staff were extremely friendly and affable and were always there to help.

The staff are welcoming and very polite, managed the parking on site. The location is stunning and fantastic, to stay in the Derby area.

The location was perfect to visit both the canal marina and the Swadlincote Ski and Snowboard Centre. The staff were friendly, and we enjoyed the tasty food at the restaurant. Would recommend staying here for a fun group trip!

We had some issues with the breakfast service. It took a while for our orders to arrive, a bit frustrating .

The highlight was definitely the very nice freshly cooked breakfast with high-quality ingredients. I enjoyed a delicious Tandoori chicken salad bowl for dinner, and I even had it two days in a row! The chef was attentive.

Solo traveler excellent experience

Had a really comfty room with nice open patio, great for that morning coffee,,, and the breakfast menu was amazing, just so many quality choices! I loved that the pub on site had such sensibly priced food, made it easy to relax after a long day.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but it was acceptable considering the overall quality.

the only downside was having to check in at the pub first. the underfloor heating was a nice touch (especially for chilly mornings). breakfast included a full English and tasted amazing. staff were friendly and happy to help at every turn.

The Wi-Fi connection struggled throughout my stay, especially for those needing reliable access. Breakfast service fell short too. It took an uncomfortably long time for our orders to arrive, and some dishes came out cold, leaving a lot to be desired in terms of timeliness and temperature. Though the dining area had a cozy atmosphere, the breakfast experience left me feeling like improvements are necessary to match the overall aesthetic.

The beautiful double room with shower was cozy, modern, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a delight with top-quality ingredients, and the evening meals were flavorful, especially the lamb special.

Just a balanced option for a short stayover in Findern with great value-to-price ratio. The super nice team when I asked for directions to the canal. Don't miss the pleasant walk along the tow path nearby.

The Beautiful Double Room was really nice, super modern and clean with a comfy mattress. Loved the enormous double shower-definitely a highlight! I did hear some noise from the pub next door on Greek Night, but it stopped by 11 pm. The room had plenty of space for our stuff, and the towels were some of the softest I've ever used! Just the breakfast service could have been smoother since it took ages for everything to arrive.

This place was kept pretty clean and the breakfast was amazing 😋! The staff here were really friendly and helpful, they shared a bunch of tips about things to do around the area.

The location for Derby was great and fab. Just next door to the adjoining pub as well as next to a restaurant. - It was about a 5-minute drive to Mercia Marina.
